With the Sydney Racing Carnival fast approaching, you must think about where to watch in the arena and what to do if you want to take a breather from the intense horse racing action. As early as now, you can buy tickets for the race days of the Sydney Racing Carnival and you can also place your reservations with some of the finest restaurants within the horse racing complex.
For the Myer Ladies Day, members of the Sydney Turf Club can purchase reserved seats for $80 and you will get a free ticket for every three tickets that you book. You can also purchase reserve grandstand seats for Myer Ladies Day for $45 and you buy general admission tickets for $30 if you are an adult and $10 if you are a concession. Companion cards are also accepted for general admission.
For the Rosehill Guineas Day, STC members can buy reserved seats for $80 and reserved grandstand seats can be purchased for $40. General admission tickets for the Rosehill Guineas Day are worth $25 for adults and $10 for concessions. Concessions include disability pensioners, aged pensioners and students aged 13 to 17 as long as they present proper identification.
For the Golden Slipper Day, Member’s ticketing is worth $180 while reserved grandstand seats are worth $75 for the Gold Reserve seats and $70 for the other seats. In the general admission seats, tickets are worth $45 for adults and $20 for the concessions. You can also purchase a combined concert and admission ticket for the Golden Slipper Stakes for $70.

Priority will be given to those who will purchase combined admission and concert tickets, the slipper HQ ticket and one of the grand pavilion products. In the general admission seats, you can also buy golden passes for all three dates for $80 if you’re an adult and $35 if you are a concession. Kids aged 12 and below can enter for free.
If you feel like grabbing a bite, you can visit the top-notch restaurants at the Sydney Racing Carnival venues. If you want an intimate racing experience with a group of friends, you reserve a private suite which offers lunch buffets, three-hour non-stop beverages for Myer Ladies Day and Rosehill Guineas Day and five-hour unlimited beverages during the Golden Slipper Day.
Private suites also offer a private TAB facility, race book for each guest, viewing monitors and a personal host or hostess for the day. Private suits can accommodate up to 25 people and it offers an unblocked view of the race track. You can reserve private suites for $5,600 on Myer Ladies Day, $5,100 on Rosehill Guineas Day and $12,500 for Golden Slipper Day.
You can also reserve an open terrace for an even smaller group of friends. Open terraces offer three catering choices, a race book per guest, a TV monitor and a beverage starter package of 48 beers and three wines. You can reserve open terraces for $1,800 for the Myer Ladies Day, $1,600 for the Rosehill Guineas Day and $3,500 for the Golden Slipper Day.
Meanwhile, you can socialize with other horse racing enthusiasts while enjoying cocktails and beverages at the Cotton Figures Enclosure. You will be given private beverages on your arrival and you can enjoy canapés while monitoring the race through race books and plasma screens. The enclosure also has private betting facilities and STC members can gain access to it on Golden Slipper Day for $235 while member’s guests can get it for $295.
You can also book with other restaurants such as the Winning Post Restaurant, TJ’s Champagne Bar and Mumm Champagne Bar. Winning Post is the top restaurant among the three and they feature TV monitors per table, a race book, roaming TAB operators and a three-course a la carte menu by an executive chef.
Meanwhile, TJ’s Champagne Bar and Mumm Champagne Bar gives you a reserved seat for the day and waiter service wherein you can order light snacks and beverages. Reservations for the three restaurants must be placed days and advanced and pre-order of plates for TJ’s and Mumm must be done by the Tuesday before the race. One plate contains light food that is good enough for to two people.
